The shortcuts
member defines an array of shortcuts or links to key tasks or pages within a web app. A user agent can use these values to assemble a context menu to be displayed by the operating system when a user engages with the web app's icon. When user invokes a shortcut, the user agent will navigate to the address given by shortcut's url
member.
Shortcut item values
Shortcut objects may contain the following values (only name
and url
are required):
- Shortcuts (previously called Workflow) is a free app for iOS devices that runs complicated tasks. They can be custom made or premade and tap into many areas of the device. Each function the app supports is an action that performs a specific task and multiple actions can be combined into one tas.
- This post has been updated. It was originally published on 09/26/19. Compared to reaching for the mouse or navigating a menu, a single Windows keyboard shortcut shaves a moment off your task.
- Use If actions in Shortcuts. Use the If action (also known as a conditional) to set up a shortcut that checks for certain conditions and operates differently depending on which condition is met.If actions give you the flexibility to set up different paths that your actions can take depending on conditions that are known only when the shortcut runs.
Most of us know how to control tasks on our computer using our mouse, but there’s a much faster way. Windows 10 keyboard shortcuts make things happen with just a tap on the keyboard.
